More About Our Breeds

Whether you’re looking for an energetic working dog or a loyal family companion, we breed for temperament, intelligence, and trainability.

Working Labrador Retriever

Labradors are one of the most popular dog breeds in the world, known for their friendly nature, intelligence, and versatility.

  • Kind, outgoing, and famously good-natured. Labs typically love everyone — kids, strangers, and other pets.

  • High energy. They thrive on outdoor activity — swimming, fetch, hiking, and running are all favourites.

  • Extremely trainable, thanks to their intelligence and eagerness to please. Commonly used as service and working dogs.

  • Very adaptable. Labs do well in many types of homes as long as they get enough exercise and attention.

Working Cocker Spaniel

Loyal, intelligent, and full of energy, working Cockers make devoted companions, but they need plenty of stimulation and space.

  • Fun-loving and affectionate. They bond closely with their owners and are usually good with children and other dogs.

  • Very high energy. Daily exercise, training, and mental challenges are essential.

  • Highly responsive and eager to learn. They thrive with positive reinforcement and enjoy having a job to do.

  • Best suited to active homes with access to the outdoors. Thrive when given attention and purpose.

Working Springer Spaniel

Originally bred for field work, Springers are active, affectionate, and intelligent. They thrive in homes where they can stay busy and feel part of the team.

  • Loyal and loving. They’re gentle with children and sociable with other dogs and people.

  • Very high. These dogs love long walks, playtime, running, and training exercises.

  • Eager learners who excel at obedience, agility, and scent work with consistent, positive training.

  • Best in active homes with space to run and things to do — they need structure and purpose.

Working Sprocker Spaniel

A cross between a Springer Spaniel and a Cocker Spaniel, Sprockers are energetic, affectionate, and intelligent dogs. They can make brilliant pets for the right kind of owner — especially someone active who can meet their physical and mental needs.

  • Sprockers are friendly, people-oriented, and typically good with children and other dogs. They love being part of the family.

  • Very energetic and playful — they thrive with lots of outdoor time, games like fetch, swimming, and regular walks.

  • Smart and eager to learn, Sprockers respond well to consistent, positive training. They excel in obedience, agility, and scent work.

  • They’re adaptable but do best in rural or suburban settings where their energy needs can be met.

Cockapoo

A popular crossbreed between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle, Cockapoos are friendly, low-shedding companions — great for families and first-time dog owners.

  • Happy, loving, and very social. They enjoy being around people and are usually great with kids and other pets.

  • Moderate energy levels — they enjoy playtime and walks but are less intense than working Spaniels.

  • Very intelligent and responsive. Cockapoos enjoy training and mental stimulation, thanks to their Poodle and Spaniel heritage.

  • Adaptable to various home types, as long as they get regular attention and activity.
